Enrollment Policy
Enrollment
For the preschool program an initial non-refundable deposit in the amount of 15% of the yearly tuition is due upon enrollment to secure your child's place. The remaining payments are divided into either 3 or 10 installments over the course of the year beginning in August of your enrollment year. Each family may choose the payment option that works best for them.
For the kinder program an initial non-refundable deposit of one months tuition is due upon enrollment to secure your child's place. The remaining payments are monthly installments over the course of the year beginning in July of your enrollment year. Each family may choose the payment option that works best for them.
Enrollment is a commitment to the principles of the school and the methods by which it operates. MOS has no obligation to release any family from its tuition obligation or to refund any payments of tuition made in the event of a withdrawal or otherwise. By submitting your non-refundable deposit you are enrolling your child and signifying that you understand and are bound by the financial commitment this entails.
Siblings
MOS offers a 10% sibling discount to families with more than one child enrolled at the school. Please note, tuition rates and fees are subject to change.
Tuition
Tuition is due by the 15th of each month. Prompt tuition payment is essential to the smooth operation of the school. A $50 late fee will be charged to families who pay after the 15th unless a prior arrangement is made with the Director. Repeated late payment (more than two months in arrears) is grounds for dismissal.
In the event of short- or long-term financial hardship, a family may negotiate a flexible payment arrangement with the Business Director. No refunds or deductions are provided for absences due to illness, vacations, school holidays, or early withdrawal.
Our tuition ensures fair pay for our teachers and covers the cost of our supplies, materials, and administrative fees as well as land reparations based on recommendations from The Lenape Center. It also allows us to offer financial aid & sliding scale pricing for families that need it. If our program is cost-prohibitive, please reach out to us here.
MOS does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation or religion. Each year, we strive to create a class that reflects the culturally diverse make-up of the communities we serve.
